C-Wars Kickstarter Goal Reached, Coming To Wii U And 3DS

The go-to for indie game developers, Kickstarter, has once again succeeded in bringing a top-notch title to the Wii U and 3DS. C-Wars, a roguelike, pixel art title set in a cyberpunk apocalypse environment, successfully reached its $35,000 goal over the weekend. In fact, it did considerably better than its intended target and took a whopping $95,574 in total from over 3,000 backers.

With its added stretch goals, C-Wars will land comfortably on both the Wii U and 3DS, as well as the PlayStation Vita and iOS devices. The title is said to have its own unique combat system, along with the spirit of real-time strategy and RPG. Brought to you by developers Onipunks, C-Wars is set for release in late 2013. Will you be adding this title to your collection on either Wii U or 3DS?

  2. so it takes $95,574 to make a game like this? Ok. no remind me again why the Wii U was created? Ah, for eShop rubish, sidescrollers and 8-bit style games and oh yes, old remakes.

    1. Actually, it takes $35,000 to make a game like this. If you think that’s a lot, then you don’t know much about gaming.

  3. This game looks awesome! Love the pixelated art work and the way the battle mechanics look! Can’t wait to pick this up. 💋

  4. So we’ve got people on the ouya thread saying smart phone games suck and here they are saying this looks decent? dafuq? This looks like crap. I’ll wait it out for shovelknight. There was another good mega man Esq one coming that was posted here too that looks really good. Compare this to Trine 2 and tell me it will be worth the 10-15 euro? Not a chance.
