For those of you who are fans of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, UK publisher Ghostlight has been looking to localise the Nintendo DS game Devil Survivor 2 over the past couple of weeks. Ghostlight has been working hard to rectify this issue and take a leap of faith with the fans to try for a European physical release of the game. In order to see if this was something the fans wanted, the publisher opened up an exclusive pre-order list on their website offering the title in two respective bundle packs – however, they need 1,800 pre-orders for the boxed copy to even make its late September release.
Now, Ghostlight has informed us that they have collected 627 pre-orders so far, which pits them just over one-third in required pre-orders. So if you’re looking for a European release for Devil Survivor 2 to add to your Shin Megami Tensei collection, then now is the time to put forward for a pre-order. But make sure you get your order in before the closing date in two weeks on August 30, as that will be the make or break period for Ghostlight’s campaign. The two bundle packs are listed below, and if you’re looking to purchase either of these, then you can see a handy mock-up of what the boxed release will look like above.
Bundle 1: Standalone Release
Devil Survivor 2 (DS)
This special edition will be factory sealed and include an exclusive A4 folded poster featuring the cover art. Anyone pre-ordering the game will have the option to include their name in the manual and also as a bonus, pre-ordered units will feature a special gold coloured Devil Survivor logo on the inlay.
Pre-Order price £24.99/€29.99
The game will be available to all PAL territories.
Bundle 2: Devil Survivor Pack

Both games will be factory sealed and as with Option 1, anyone pre-ordering the bundle will have the option to include their name in the DS2 manual.

Regrettably, we will not be able to ship this bundle to Germany due to an existing distribution agreement.
[insert witty comment about being first here]
To all you Europeans, I can highly recommend this game!
Don’t even care a bit about.
Ghostlight should learn first that there is more than UK in Europe.
You do realise they are a UK company, right? Plus, they DO ship to European countries where they are able due to licensing issues.
Use your credit card. If you’re an adult you have one. Right?
Dont support please
um why, they’re great games
This is an old game and nobody cares about it. what about SMT IV in europe? They release and fill media with their new title and then try to sell old ones in Europe.. Just bring a normal SMT IV in europe and forget about that old title. They are always so fucking slow in Europe
Nintendo is publishing SMT IV in europe
I want the 3DS version instead, since it’s getting voice acting.
Ordered one anyway. I like special stuff…
People still make DS games?
It’s a couple of years old. Like 3? So no, not really. This never came to Europe before though.
