A new trailer revealed by Warner Bros. Games in conjunction with this week’s Gamescom event showcases airborne arsonist Firefly as the latest villain in the Arkham series of games. The trailer also feature usual suspects Joker and Two-Face among a flurry of HD action. Nintendo fans eagerly awaiting the Wii U version of the game can still take advantage of the Amazon sale we reported last week, which has the game for 49.96 plus a $10 promotional credit.

Top that? Ok, you asked for it! Splinter cell does have co-op, just not an offline co-op. It’s all online, just fine for me. Blops 2? Yeah but I don’t care for Black opts DLC. Ghost is getting it and to my knowledge, with all that there is in the the other ports of the game…PLUS a DLC map for those who preorder it for wii u. Who cares if Batman is online, I hear it was terrible. But I’m sure fans will buy it and ask, if the numbers are high enough, the game gets an update patch like Capcom did for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Gamepad/off tv play. I’ve seen the online beta leaked online, and I can guarantee the online is nothing special that adds nothing to the game. It’s half endless predator mode, and half third-person shooter. I’ll be buying the Wii U version, as I don’t feel I’ll be missing out.

Too bad they crippled the WiiU version out of fear of having the definitive version on WiiU. I understand the gamepad features will be great but no online = no purchase for me. I wont buy it for ps3 either….it just seems wrong to support this type of behavior.

thats what i normally feel, i mean onlines great, but when your friend are around you, it makes it all the better, plus the u pad makes it so you can even use 2 different screen in the same room.

I guess I can relate in that fact. My brother matched me on NSMBU and NSMBWii, I can never get the upper hand when it came to xbox, gears of war 3, but when street fighter x tekken came on, I had the upper hand.

I found it more easily to play the game locally than online. I ask my friends if they want to play the game online but we all rather play different games most of the time. Then my friends come over and boom it is so easy to get everyone to play the same game and in local multiplayer too!
I just don’t know why that is. I would expect online make it easier for all of us to play together but it is actually reverse for us.
Activision the most honest third party. If someone had said this three years ago, I would not have believed them, in fact bewilderment would have been a better state. Bottom-line nintendo commander is that Nintendo EAD is the greatest developer of all time. If third parties even second know that, then emulating them like square did with Chrono trigger will sell your games on a nintendo console :).

I have been on the fence about this. After seeing the trailer it got me excited. Plan on preordering it for my Wii U! I enjoyed the previous Batman games (even if this is by someone else). I just purchased Splinter Cell today for the Wii U; I’m excited about playing! I’m trying to support the Wii U as much as I can. Lol also going to get Watch Dogs on Wii U. See I have a PS3 a Xbox 360 but Nintendo will always have a place in my home! I love local or online MP I have Black Ops2 on PS3 with season pass but ironically I play my Black Ops2 copy on my Wii U instead. I have found the Nintendo community more enjoying. Playing with the game pad and having the ability to have someone else without using split screen is a plus! So whatever I can do to help support Wii U I will do so. I know if we show the devs that there isa fan base willing to support the Wii U they will eventually support it also.
Definitely getting this game and am glad I pre-ordered. I think it’s worth it because even though we are not getting the multi-player at least we are getting the DLC and it’s technically $20 cheaper on Amazon for Wii U. Worth it to me and we don’t even know how good the multiplayer is actually going to be. It’s made by the same people that made Brink.
Well, having this game’s better than not having this at all. Besides, games like these are meant to be played single-player, that’s just my opinion though.
