Amazon.com is currently running a special promotion on Batman: Arkham Origins for the Wii U. The site has the game priced for only 49.96. In addition, purchasers of the game will be emailed a promo code within two business days after shipment, for an additional $10 dollars in Amazon promotional credit.

Despite the fact that Arkham Origins for Wii U will not feature the online multiplayer seen on other consoles, Wii U owners are eagerly awaiting this addition to the console’s catalogue. Batman: Arkham Origins is still slated for an October 25th release.

                1. Advantage Driving… let the enemies take each other hope… and hope no one take you out till you are in first place. Works 97% of the time.

                  1. Thats not really an issue it’s just the order number. No compromise is there. I am a hacker so I know….. :)

It’s a great promotion, but speaking of multiplayer, I actually saw a leak for the beta (I’m being serious, it was on Twitch. It’s the only one I can find not taken down). The Batman/Robin mode is essentially endless predator mode with help, and the thug mode isn’t anything special either. It’s just a third person shooter with Batman and Robin thrown in. We really won’t be missing much.

  1. “Despite Wii U not featuring online like other consoles, Wii U fans are eagerly anticipating the game”

That statement right there is just as full of BS as the third party’s excuses of gimping every single Wii U ports/version of their games. I’m not one of those morons who didn’t forget what they did and I’m pretty sure as hell almost all Wii U fans are more pissed off than anticipated to buy a gimped game at high price as other console versions.

WB, you can kiss my ass after this stunt. Even Ubisoft for not offering offline play for Blacklist and pointlessly delaying Rayman for a year because of their wussy skepticism BS can kiss my ass too.

    1. Whoah, stranga, your a beast now. Save it for trolls a haters. Down boy, down, down. We are all still pretty pissed about it. My comment may not show it but I believe they could have done better. BIG TIME better.

      1. You didnt hear this from me.

Of course they say it so they dont upset Nintendo,Sony and Microshit. Just let the Dream(cast) live.

  2. You didnt hear this from me.

No buy from me. I played Arkham City on Wii U and it was boooooring. Well Wb goes down when Dreamcast 2 rises.

          1. yeah that is true…I do miss sega’s consoles. Glad they gave sonic a chance in Smash Bros. and on top of that, Mario and Sonic olypics games are hot for nintendo but what they really need is an adventure starring the 2 rivals of Sega and Nintendo, a dream I hope to see for myself.

            1. If Sonic Lost World sells well and many of our Nintendo Inglets buys it…

I’m sure an idea might come up about that…

        1. I don’t…

          It’s practically the Wii U’s stepfather…

I like the Sega Kingdom as I had MegaDrive and Saturn…

  3. I dont see why people are so excited to buy a game thats not on par with other versions.10$ Off is not such a great deal. Especially when the holiday deals are coming from Target and Toys r Us.They usually offer buy 2 games get one free.Or buy one get one half off,Now those are deals worth having!
And some of you may say well I dont live stateside so this doesn’t apply to me. Well I paid full price for my wiiu.I wasnt afforded the luxury of buying my console for a fraction of its true cost..

  4. You didnt hear this from me.

Nazis flew with their ufo ships to antarctica they escaped they live there they are comin back PREPARE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. Aliens talked to me last night about wet dreams.

Ok, where did you get that from…

  6. I will also buy this game when it’s $10. The only good thing about half assed support from 3rd parties is you can get their games for bargain bin prices in short order when the sales suck.

    1. Regardless of the controversial decision not to put in multiplayer, I will still not get this game when it’s released. I’m going to hold my money off until they put the mode in or the inevitable game of the year edition comes out. Bottom line.

  7. No deal. I’ve never played a game in this series. The devs are not getting me to jump on board by slapping me.

Do I look like a whore?

Ashame. Looks like fun, and multiplayer may not be a huge part of it, but I’m voicing my disappointment with my wallet.

  9. Nice.. not paying for a feature that I wasn’t interested in to equate to a lower game price is a great deal. Can’t wait!
