The Deadly Six have managed to recruit some new allies in the form of Nightmaren monsters inspired from the game NiGHTS into Dreams. Sonic has been sucked in to a world of nightmares created by Wizeman and he must defeat the Deadly Six who are riding high atop gigantic Nightmaren monsters in an exclusive level accessed via a redeemable code. The Deadly Six Edition is available when pre-ordering the game or whilst stocks last. The NiGHTMARE DLC can be played at any point in the game and on completion of the level a Black Bomb Colour Power is rewarded to the player which usually only obtainable from Miiverse.
The versus races on the Wii U allow you to compete against a friend across courses especially redesigned for multiplayer madness. Split across three unique modes, one person plays using the screen on the Wii U GamePad and the other can play using the TV and Wii remote. Sonic Lost World on the 3DS offers versus races for up to 4 players locally and online. Both offer exclusive multiplayer power ups to try and help you or hinder your rivals in the ultimate supersonic showdown!
Additionally call up backup for Sonic with the brand new remote control (R/C) vehicles for the Wii U which offer supportive co-op using the Wii remote. Remote controlled planes, choppers, UFOs and more are at your disposal as you slow down time, lift Sonic to reach undiscovered locations and even turn him invisible! On the 3DS R/C vehicles can be summoned at any time and by using items found in the game you can create your vehicles in Tails’ Lab. Sonic Lost World also supports the ability share R/C vehicles from the 3DS to the Wii U versions so that players can to expand their collection and find new ways to play.
The fun doesn’t end there thanks to Sonic Lost World’s Miiverse capabilities. You can share items with your friends & community members via Miiverse and as these items are shared, they will continue to grow so that you can unlock their full potential! Fans of the classic Sonic power-ups will also have plenty to enjoy with the return of Power Sneakers, Shields and Invincibility. In addition to all this you‘ll be able to blast your enemies out of the way with the exclusive Black Bomb Colour Power only available via Miiverse.

I think they need to be more specific for the deadly six edition when pre-ordering. Pre-ordering through where? If I preorder through Amazon right now, will I get the Deadly Six Edition with DLC? or is it only through stores (certain retail/game stores?)

They are trying to push 3DS Sonic sales, everyone knows how well Luigi Mansion 2 did on the 3DS, therefore sonic selling millions on the 3DS is a no brainer. Same as Sonic always sells well on home consoles. Everything sounds awesome :).
Blah. The 3DS is already doing great though, they need to give this same love to the Wii U. I mean it’s like they have so many opportunities, and they they shade all of them for to me, unnecessary reasons. Why can’t both the Wii U and 3DS versions have online multi-player capabilities tho…Sonic may sell well on home consoles, great. But the Wii U is not selling all that great, so that would’ve really helped some.

Looks like I am getting both versions now.
This is so F****** lame, the 3DS has online but the WiiU doesn’t. Fuck it, I’m no longer going to buy games that only include local coop/mp only.
I’m still confused how they’re going to market buying both versions. Aside from being able to integrate vehicles from the 3ds version and Wii U what else? Are they the same game? Same levels? If i buy the Wii U version why would i want the 3ds version as well?
All I want in a Sonic game is to be able to play as Tails and Knuckles again…
That not withstanding, it does look like this is fixing a lot of the things I haven’t liked about the last several games. They’re toning down the speed in favor of better control, so there’s my #1 issue eliminated right from the get-go.

Now a Exclusive game for Nintendo systems the Wii U getting a gimped version with no online play while the Nintendo 3DS version is getting online play. What the Hell is wrong with Nintendo and Sega?

Sonic Generations didn’t have online gameplay on the consoles/PC version, only the 3DS version. Sonic Colors DS had online. So this isn’t really new.
