      1. trust me, the show is the same (ash always wins with a life lesson etcetera) but the animation has slowly but greatly improved!

  1. the only reason to watch that shit is because of mewtwo. I also predict the xy series to suck just as bad as black white. the tv show needs a serious overhaul.

    1. Mewtwo is my primary reason for NOT watching it. I already know they bastardized my favorite Pokémon of all time, no need to watch it unfold before my eyes.

  3. Man, I think I’m the only one here who’s a fan of the Pokemon anime. I have every season on DVD (well, the ones that were released that is. Not sure why Johto Journeys, Master Quest and Advanced was never released). Though the original few seasons will always be the best, I like a lot of the newer episodes too. Minus all of the BORING AS HELL Pokémon fashion coordinator episodes. Yuck! Those episodes nearly caused me to hate the series. SO GLAD that May and Dawn left. Keep that crap off of Pokémon.

    1. I enjoyed the original and the Advance era, too because they were funny, despite the Pokemon battles being mediocre. Sinnoh was watchable because the battles were awesome. (I didn’t mind the Pokemon contest episodes) I just couldn’t stand Best Wishes for some reason. I just hope I can get back into the series with X&Y.
