  1. Well that’s great, but I’m kinda already occupied with my thirdparty stuff that has been working fine since i got my original Wii

      1. I hope you realize that your comment is not funny at all and exposes you as someone who thinks that is cool to meme-ing the “please understand” jargon.

          1. No problem. My apologies as well. But I’m getting sicker and sicker of people saying “please understand” in an attempt to troll both Iwata and Nintendo fans.

              1. Let’s make a deal, Seven Son: you reply me once per post, and reply you once as well. Let’s prevent fatigue, right?

                  1. While I agree that Nintendo is not perfect, This IS a Nintendo News site so people insulting Nintendo for nothing more than trolling are another issue, this is a place to discuss Nintendo as well as constructively criticize them but nothing more

  2. It took them how many years to come out with this? They need to bundle the wii remote with the joystiq add-on and the wii pro controller for the price of a game also. Too damn expensive. The need to buy like 4 of them to play party games or even new super mario bros wii u is ridiculous

  3. $40 to charge ONE? I’m glad they made an official one, but it should charge at least two, but preferably four. I’d hope for those alternatives, but Nintendo had to wait for a new console that uses the same controller to put out any sort of official rechargeable battery pack.

  4. too late for this shit. they need to start planning for an improved gamepad like we all know they’ll release in the future.

  5. If this actually works the way it’s supposed to, it’s a LONG OVER-DUE awesome idea. I bought two NYKO Charge Stations for the Wii, and both of them were CRAP! The charger didn’t even charge the batteries except for just a tiny bit. I got so sick of those rechargeable battery packs going dead so fast that I started using regular batteries again.

    1. Only question is, why did Nintendo wait until the Wii was on life support before releasing this?
