The new trailer, of course, features Cranky Kong keeping up with DK and the youngsters. Plus pick up 100 bananas and unleash the Kong POW move to turn all on-screen enemies into items. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be released for Wii U on February 21, 2014.

Can’t wait to play this. The gameplay looks ridiculously fun. Cranky Kong id a welcome addition. I always thought the old guy was hilarious. This game is going to be bananas. I’m pounding my chest DK-style in excitement.
I was a little disappointed that you couldn’t play as Diddy & Dixie together, but the gameplay footage here has convinced me that this is going to be a GREAT game in any case.
Donkey Kong remains a classic, one of the best 2d platformer ever, THANKS RETRO FOR KEEPIN’ IT BIG!!
