Renegade Kid’s Jool Watsham has promised on Twitter that he has a big announcement in store for Nintendo 3DS owners and first person shooter fans sometime later this month. It sounds as though we may get more information about his eShop title Cult County.
We have a pretty big announcement coming up later this month. Something FPS lovers and 3DS owners might be happy about. :)

They were good to have on board on DS, but let’s face it, the games were not that great. Dementium and Moon were ok on the machine they were in, but they wouldn’t know how to make a good game on 3DS

I don’t see how this stops them making a decent one on 3DS, especially since they actually have more to work with now in terms of hardware.
What the hell is so different between the DS and the 3DS besides one having better hardware and a 3D display?

I’m replying to Rafael Monteiro who said in his comment that they were good to have on DS but that they wouldn’t know how to make a good game on 3DS. My reply to him was that the only thing they need to do is make a better looking game. It’s not as if it’s a drastic change going from DS to 3DS.
on DS just having a FPS was pretty impressive, it wasn’t too potent to handle the draw distance. on 3DS you need a lot more than just an ok game like Dementium or Moon, people won’t be as forgiving

I’m an FPS lover and 3DS owner. I didn’t much care for Mutant Mudds but I will definitely be keeping an eye on this title.
Is this still going to be released in episodes or what? Really looking forward to it!
