This week’s UK individual format charts are now in from GFK Chart Track. There isn’t much to report on this week due to a lack of new releases. Pokemon X and Pokemon Y hold on to number 38 and 39 respectively. There’s still no Wii U titles in the entire top forty which is sure to be a blow to Nintendo. You can view the top forty, below.

Lol (in case you really wanted to know) X had mega Charizard X, which was the deal breaker for most people.
I was just trying to make a pun, but yeah, I understand why most people went with X. But I preferred the Pokemon from Y, especially Mega Mewtwo Y.
The fact that they count them as separate games is a bit dumb. I wonder where it would be if you added the sales together. They are two versions of the same game.

Too be fair, the list is going by product. So, even though the games are mostly similar, it’s simply displaying how many unit’s of each are selling, Same reason 3DS and 3DS XL are seperated, and Vita and Vita TV.
No surprise soccer/football is still up there on top.

I end up making a different critique of our (the UK’s) gamers every week. Last time it was that we don’t buy Japanese developed games, regardless of quality. This week I’ll observe that we are a nation of casual gamers. CoD, FIFA, GTA, Battlefield. Very middle of the road indeed. You’d think there might be something a bit out there in the top 40, but the best we could do was Knack (which is out there simply because it’s bad) and Pokemon (the most populist Nintendo franchise out there. Anyone ever try Zelda?

There is what there is. It’s the same like with music. Sometimes i can’t believe why some songs are on top of radio. Or when i listen to some billboard top 10 I want to kill myself from hearing most of songs.

I’m just glad to see them holding on. It just shows you how big of an impact Pokemon has, even in the UK where Nintendo’s presence isn’t as strong. 💋
i wish you would stop posting retarded uk chart numbers when not only is it the smallest main gaming area and just about every “gamer” in the uk has there head so far their ass that it will never come out in mean they are playing the same games that they have been or the last five years and clearly are way off the deep end and lost their minds long ago

They really do have the worst taste in gaming, what in gods name is fun about playing ‘Fifa’?
I give us a free pass on FIFA. It’s a sports game – a genre so separate that I don’t think it should even be compared with all these other games. I don’t give us a free pass on how boring the rest of that list is. CoD, Battlefield, Assassin’s Creed etc., it’s a pathetic list.

After months and months of watching these charts, you gotta admit that the problem it’s not that these people don’t like Nintendo, the problem is that they only buy FIFA and COD, it’s been the same games for months, these people don’t have varierity. It’s pathetic, it looks like only teenagers and straight men play games there.
Look at the Japanese charts, every week it’s different and the new games almost always enter the Top 10 and mostly go for #1 that week, this is just pathetic, if you can only buy FIFA says a lot about you as a “gamer”.
