This week’s UK Charts are in courtesy of GFK Chart Track. Mario Party: Island Tour has rolled back seven places from last week’s position in the individual charts to land at 27. Luckily for Mario and co. the game’s retaining the highest position for a 3DS game within the charts.
Elsewhere in the individual charts, Animal Crossing: New Leaf re-enters at 36, while Pokemon X and Y partner up again in positions 39 and 38, respectively. Once again there are no Wii U titles in the charts, with Just Dance 2014 for the Wii even missing out this week. You can see the top 40 individual charts in full below.

Within the top 20 on the list, there are 4 fifa14 games and 3 cod ghosts games, UK will forever love their fifa and cod……FOREVER!!!!!
Yeah, here in UK we value original and innovative games. We buy consoles for £350-450 with almost no games to play on it just because that is the coolest thing to do… In the near future, 90% of the games would be all varied offering unique experiences, games made with exquisite quality and above all..fun to play!! Thanks to us…. Long life to the videogame industry!!!!

Yeah and the board game formulas are horrendous. There’s literally no re playability in this game. i don’t feel like playing any of the boards again. I played mario party 4/5 on the gamecube for hours on end because they were so much fun. ever since mario party 9 the games turned to shit. In MP9 it you could be screwed over in the last 2 rolls of the dice and go from first to fourth. it was just stupid.
I should mention that this game requires little to no skill or thought as to the decisions you make during this game. it’s all completely RNG unlike previous mario party’s which were a mixture of both
I’ve read a few reviews now and it doesn’t appear to be as bad as you say…
1. It certainly makes it more fun than MP5-7…
2. Half of the things you don’t seem to like is stuff I don’t have problems with…
Like “luck” moments…
I enjoy such moments because it pisses you off in a good way…
3. The only thing most seem to agree on is that the monotonous gameplay is basically stricted to “campaign mode”
Although some minigames might have issues with controls, I don’t mind playing those who reminds me of previous minigames…
Just because many are unoriginal doesn’t make them boring, unless you recently played another MP game or are playing solo…
But since I won’t be playing solo, the game will probably end up being a good time to play from time to time…
