Mamoru Samuragochi, the acclaimed composer behind the Resident Evil and Onimusha franchises, has revealed that he hired someone else to write his music for nearly two decades. Samuragochi has been dubbed the “Japanese Beethoven” and lost his hearing at 35, but he continued on making music for video games using what he called his “absolute pitch”.
His solicitor offered a statement to the Japan Times saying that Samuragochi was “deeply sorry as he has betrayed fans and disappointed others”. He knows he could not possibly make any excuse for what he has done. He is mentally distressed and not in a condition to properly express his own thoughts”.

Sort off, the design was done by Akira Kitamura, inafune was still key part with the development of the games. So although hes not the “creator” of Megaman, the series went that far because of him, and his team of course.
Hes talked about it, I believe it was around 2007 when he dropped that bombshell and admitted that the design of megaman was already done when he joined crapcom. If I remember corectly, hes also not the creator of X, inafune’s redesign of megaman was Zero but he knew people werent going to accept Zero as the new megaman so he had another designer come up with the design of X.
Its funny because he continus to say that mighty 9 is sinilar to megaman because its made by his own style as megaman and thats why they look similar hahahahahaha you didnt design megaman so dont say that stupid things asshole.
