This week’s UK charts are in courtesy of GFK chart track. There’s not much change in regards to 3DS titles within the individual charts. Mario Party: Island Tour slips down to 30, while Pokemon X and Y partner up again in positions 34 and 35, and Just Dance 2014 for the Wii snags number 38 as a re-entry. Fable is my favorite game series and I’m glad to see it up there but I an really surprised that this list is for UK.

Just Dance is a heck of a franchise and Wii the most sold console, so no surprises there.
“No Wii U, worrysome…” The Wii U has sold the least amount of consoles in the UK, so it’s not as much worrisome as it is expected.

It’s depressing from a general homosapien perspective in fact, it’s sad to see how humans enjoy murder and blood over family, fun and quality, makes me sad to be a member of this race…
Well murder/takeing life for your well being or the greater good (whatever form that takes) its a big part of life for all living things, like it or not. Its not nice no and there seems to be a big unbalance judging from that list but I would not do away with those sort of games altogether, there must be balance.
Also some people may benefit from this stuff as it may stop them from real violence and or relieve stress etc etc.
Well most people don’t get to experience “murder and blood” and if we face facts, like Zelenar has pointed out, killing is a natural part of life. One that every day humans don’t get to experience. So while you think everyone needs to spend more time with their family, you haven’t taken into account that perhaps all these people buying “gun games” spend a great deal of time with their family and want to experience something else. Something they can only find in games, in a fantasy world, hence violent video games.
Not to mention pop culture has portrayed violence as “cool.” From movies like Bruce Lee’s Enter the Dragon to Kick Ass to Transformers. Violence is always portrayed as an act necessary for survival and also… picking up the ladies, but don’t get me wrong, movies like Charlie’s Angels, Resident Evil and the Avengers also shows violent women as attractive to the male audience and to women lusting for a “strong” female figure in cinema.
All around us we receive subliminal messaging (if you want to call it that) about how “different,” “exciting,”and “cool” violence is. Yet, most would consider violence a “bad thing.”- We say it’s bad, but we still want it.
Violence as entertainment will never go away simply, because we don’t do enough killing and murder ourselves in real life (as awful as that sounds). People will always lust for what they can’t do, it’s human nature, it always has been and will always be that way.

When a mediocre game like Knack out performs a critically acclaimed Mario game you so know that the Wii U is dead!!!

Super Mario 3D World is ORDERS of magnitude better than Knack. SM3D is EXCELLENT, critics have said it many times. Super Mario 3D World is a true next gen game, Knack is just awful.
And yes, I have both consoles and Knack is just awful. AWFUL.

Well Fable is pretty cool, i have the first one on original Xbox. Its one of the underrated game imo and deserves that spot, the atmosphere in that game is awesome imo and you can make choices, be a good or a bad guy. Its fun game one the few good 1st party MS games.
