The European Nintendo Direct has confirmed to Yoshi fans that a special 3DS XL – which was spotted earlier this month – featuring the green dinosaur will be released to coincide with Yoshi’s New Island on the Nintendo 3DS. The green 3DS XL comes with an image of Yoshi running with the trademark green and white egg by his side. However, Yoshi’s New Island will not be included and will need to be purchased separately.

Where’s North America’s version? I wanted the Luigi 3DS XL and we got screwed with that one. please give us an awesome version like the Luigi or the Zelda 3DS. Not a silver 3DS with a stamp on it.
