Square Enix Announces Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call For North America

Square Enix has announced that Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will be heading to North America. The publisher’s latest rhythm-fever 3DS game is due to launch in Japan later this week and will feature 221 songs with over 60 characters from the Final Fantasy franchise.

From the announcement trailer – posted above – Square Enix is looking to release the title at some point this year, though there’s no launch window or specific dates detailed. With a North American release on the cards, and according to an earlier spotted trademark, here’s hoping the publisher brings the popular rhythm game over to Europe.

      1. Yeah, but I’d rather have a slightly downgraded version than nothing at all. :( And plus, I’ve never played any FF games. The closest thing I’ve played to one is the FFXIIILR demo. I thought it was pretty good.

  1. My biggest pet peeve with the original was the random character unlock/drop system. Had to unlock 5-6 characters I don’t give a crap about before someone I wanted came along. Too much work.
