Nintendo has provided a new update for Miiverse today, and as always Marty is on hand to divulge the details. Up first is an improvement to your individual profile page on the social channel, where ‘user menu’ has been replaced with the option ‘user page’. Clicking on your profile will result in a newly refurbished page, detailing your profile comment and which Nintendo devices you own, followed by pages for your activity feed and connections.
The new profile page, which can only be viewed on Wii U or 3DS, also allows you to select a “favourite post” from a current or past Miiverse post, which can then be proudly displayed as a head banner at the top of your profile. To do so, just touch the spanner icon on any one of your old posts and in the pull down option menu select “favourite post”. You can remove or replace your favourite post by accessing profile settings from the User Page, as well as access the User Menu from within your User Page.
The second minuscule update now allows Miiverse users on all platforms to “Yeah!” comments, as well as posts. Clicking on a comment will also enable users to see some of the people who gave it a Yeah.

Great- now remove the 3-minute wait, allow notifications for when anyone comments on a post you commented on instead of just the poster, and Miiverse will have some of its former glory restored.
