The UK video game market has risen dramatically with game sales up 20 percent over last year to £3.48bn. The UK continues to be the biggest video game market in Europe. Console sales are up 38 percent, but boxed software is down 5 percent. Interestingly mobile gaming is up a whopping 83 percent. In total a staggering 626 million pounds were spend on dedicated gaming consoles in 2013.

mobile game has rose up cause women (mostly) like candy crush saga and other type of games, not being sexist that the true. The mobile market has to thank women and girls for that.
The rise is also due to the decrease of price of software. who going to buy a game @ £60… very few the average game price is £30. Which prove that lowering price means lot of sale for maybe if not more the same profit. which also has an impact on used software which from CEX and other game shop does not fly as it used to be.
