I have a PS vita and I haven’t played it for more than a year now. And all except one game are all PSONE games. The game library seems to be on the little bare side as of now. Although a number of RPG titles looks promising on it. The 3DS still beats it by the number and quality of games on it. So on my opinion the 3DS and 2DS is still better when it comes to its value and game library which caters to everyone.

I like the overall look of the regular 3DS a lot more. The XL looks childish. The bigger screen and battery life are definitely a better deal though.

Anything bought straight from Nintendo is a great idea especially buying refurbished game systems since they are straight from their own repair team, which I got their services from. They fixed my Wii, DSs, and such plus gave me another year of warranty to top it off. Getting refurbished systems from anywhere else tend to rip you off. My niece got her refurbished 3DS system from Best Buy since it was covered by their warranty and only got a piece of crap in return and, obviously, Nintendo is not responsible for it.

For a refurbished 3DS XL, that price still seems pretty steep to me. I don’t trust refurbished products.

This is so tempting to get a 3dsXL, I already have a 3ds, but my L button broke :(. My hands are huge, but i love how I can bring the small 3ds anywhere in my pocket. Would it be worth it? Can I transfer ALL my info from one 3ds to the other?
Personally, I was able to slide my XL into the back pocket & with little discomfort. When I had one, lol.

The clam shell design is why the 3ds is for me but I can’t justify buying it new the way I can justify the gymnasticsequipmemt I buy new. $179-$189 for handheld system uh I don’t think so I only paid $99 for my regular wii not refurbished, i hate the fact the 2ds doesn’t close and to get 3ds for $95 I like. The xl is cool and all but I don’t need the xl. It even refurbished is bit much for me. Also buy paying only $95 + possible shipping that saves money for games and possibly even a case or two in whatevercolors you choose. Omega ruby and alpha sapphire I will get sapphire first is only reason I am finally giving in and getting console. I may try x and y and some point but I can’t decide which to get.
Refurbished means it has been repaired and it is Nintendo you will get completly working sytem with maybe if unlucky few dings on outside of sytem. Maybe xl is little pricey for refurbished system bit what do you except when product new is close to $200. At lewst xl isn’t as ridiculous as 2ds. The main problem with 2ds is it doesn’t close if it closed it be a great system as 3d really is mostly gimick for ppl who want it I won’t use it I don’t see 3d but design of 2ds turns me off of it.
