Legendary video game developer Shigeru Miyamoto concedes that Nintendo is struggling at the moment, but he says it’s these times of trouble that generally bring out the best in Nintendo. Miyamoto also says it’s times like these that they discover the next big thing.
“Certainly we’ve had tough times before, but the numbers have never been as bad as they are now. In my years with Nintendo what I’ve found is that it’s always in those difficult times that we have a tendency to find that next new thing. And I think that maybe we’re seeing a little bit of that [now at E3].”

I believe out of all the companies, the one who has the best chance of finally aggregating these two aspects into one console would be Nintendo. Sorry, it’s just too scary. The first time I played the demo, I was scared to death in the nursery with that boss zombie. I literally paused the game for about 30 minutes deciding what to do. I then decided to leave the game. XD Maybe next time. If it makes you feel any better, I’ve been playing the demo alot lately and I see it’s only $30 now, so I may consider purchasing. :P
Well, the gamepad “is” a standard controller, just with a screen in the center. I would like it if they just kept the gamepad for the rest of their consoles. Maybe make newer gamepads with larger screens or have different feeling buttons so you can find the pad that is most comfortable for you.
But, I don’t see how having multiple controller options is a bad thing. As long as every game supports the gamepad, then they can make a million different controllers and I don’t give a crap.
Tbh, I’m kind of wishing the Pro Controller was the main instead of the Gamepad. I know Nintendo is trying to be different, but I buy their consoles for their games, not accessories. It’s kind of a nuisance picking up this thing knowing that if I had the game (a third party for example) that I could be playing it with a normal controller if I got the other version. The Gamepad used to comfy, but now it’s just heavy and annoying.
Actually, I take it back. Sitting here playing NSMBU on the comfort of my bed made me realize how much of a hypocrite I am. XD It’s so comfy! Lol.

People actually strive to make good things when they are in the face of adversity. Nintendo is one of these people. Ubisoft & EA can take a cue from Nintendo in this regard. Then again, they are too busy giving up on a console when their games on it doesn’t sell 4+ million. This is why they are really waiting for a bigger install base. With a bigger install base, they are guaranteed to sell the amount they want to sell instead of trying to make the game great for the current, small install base. Hence why they are cheap, lazy developers/publishers. Even shitty games sell very well on a console that has 30+ million users since there are bound to be at least 5 million idiots across the globe that will buy it.

You are half right. According to an article on IGN, Capcom is selling off a majority of it’s sales which would effectively make it a console exclusive company, aka 2nd party, if bought by say Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft. So they’d still be their own company. But it is IGN so I don’t really know.

If that’s truly what the article on IGN said, then they should do their homework, because it’s incorrect. Capcom isn’t selling off anything. Shareholders didn’t vote to renew (or keep in place) the takeover defense that Capcom had.
What this means is, if a shareholder wanted to take steps for a hostile takeover, they could do so now that the defense is gone. Still, Capcom said that they will take all other legal avenues to prevent that from happening.
Still, in the unlikely case that it does happen, a console manufacturer or Capcom partner wouldn’t sully their partnership by being the aggressor and doing that. It would be bad for business for everyone.

It don’t understand why people are so obsessed with NIntendo making ‘kid’ games. What does the fact that it has a colorful exterior have to do with your enjoyment of the game? Have people forgotten that gameplay is king? I hate it when people say that they hate Nintendo because they don’t make ‘mature’ games. It shows they haven’t matured at all! I would happily bring out my 3DS and play Pokemon X on my way to work. Why not? It’s a portable RPG experience with awesome gameplay. But those people who refuse to play ‘kid’ games and instead continuously get games like COD, calling themselves ‘grown-ups’, are simply casual gamers who aren’t willing to try out a new variety of games. I remember reading this in an IGN comment: If I told you the Simpsons or South Park were kiddy, based on how they look, would that be legit? No, because just like Mario or Zelda games, they have an altogether different interior. Mario and Zelda games may have a ‘kiddy’ type of visuals, but anyone who actually PLAYS them know that as you progress, the gameplay becomes harder and harder, catering to hardcore gamers. Simpsons and South Park may be animated, but they cater to a much more mature audience. I hate the ‘kiddy vs mature’ games topic, and I sincerely hope the trolls who still believe in that will one day come to their senses and appreciate gaming because of GAMEPLAY, not just graphics.
What’s funny is that I actually gave Call of Duty a chance back when I had a PS3. I played MW3. Campaign was ok, but was never really interested in multiplayer. Then I played Bo2. Campaign was boring. Played Zombies. Waa cool, but I’d rather play an actual zombie game. Didn’t even bother with multiplayer. And I was going to give Ghosts on Wii U a chance until I found out DLC was passing Wii U once again. I’m actually wishing Battlefield 4 came to the Wii U because Call of Duty is not my type of game.

the game offers tactical play unique in 3rd person shooter genre.
If community finds itself with this game, I wouldn’t be surprised if this game would be played professionally with tournaments.
