All-New Power Rangers Super Megaforce Game Announced For Nintendo 3DS

Bandai Namco Europe has announced a brand new Power Rangers game for the Nintendo 3DS. Marking the 21st season of the TV series, Saban’s Power Rangers Super Megaforce is due for release in Europe and Australasia this coming Autumn – exactly the same time frame as last year’s successful Power Rangers franchise entry.

For those ready to fight some low-level alien crime, the action side-scrolling game will enable fans to experience the super awesome powers of the Megaforce Rangers and, once again, save the earth from impending doom and destroy the alien Armada sent to conquer earth. If you’re not quite ready to scream with all the lung power you can muster the truly nostalgic phrase, “Go Go Power Rangers!”, you can check out the press release below for more information on the upcoming title.

With the help of their supernatural guardian, Gosei, the Power Rangers are given special morphers and keys that allow them to morph into Super Megaforce Rangers. Before getting into fights, fans will use various Legendary red rangers, gaining access to their incredible powers, weapons, Zords and Megazords.

“Our collaboration with Saban to entertain kids has always been fruitful, proof with the last Power Rangers Megaforce which encountered a huge success! This time, the game will offer to kids several amazing features such as controlling various Legendary red Rangers, using incredible powers, Zords and much more! Once again, our kids will be the hero in this stirring battle against the evilest foes they will ever encounter!” Herve Hoerdt, Vice President of IP Strategy at BANDAI NAMCO Games Europe.

In this new game, fans will be able to play as their favorite Super Megaforce Rangers in addition to the Legendary Red Power Rangers and the iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  Players will also engage in epic Zord battles to conquer the colossal monsters that threaten humankind. Go Go Super Megaforce!

  1. Power Rangers is still around O_O

I never really cared for that series except for that one SNES game, ah memories.

  2. Super megaforce had so much potential down the drain as a Tokusatsu fan I frown upon this series. The game will more than likely be fun for kids. If they made an actual power rangers musou style brawler in America I would think about buying it.
