Kirby Fighters Z and DeDeDe’s Drum Dash Z Will Release For The Japanese 3DS eShop

Two mini-games from Kirby: Triple Deluxe will find a new home on the Japanese 3DS eShop later this month. Kirby Fighters Z and King DeDeDe’s Drum Dash Z will be available to purchase as stand-alone titles on July 23 for the delightful price of 750 yen each (just over $7 / €5). Given how well the cute-as-a-button platformer sold in Japan, the stand-alone mini-games should provide newcomers with a solid Kirby experience, or long-standing pink puffball fans with new content to enjoy.

Kirby Fighters Z – a Kirby-themed Smash Bros mini-game where you must defeat other Kirby CPUs with a chosen ability – will feature a number of brand new levels, along with two new abilities from Kirby’s latest adventure: the Bell and Beetle power-ups. On the other hand, if DeDeDe’s Drum Dash Z is the rhythm game choice for you, expect to see 14 new levels which are trickier and require much more skill.

It’s currently unknown whether the updated mini-games will release for the western 3DS eShop, but given their appeal on the platformer, would you be willing to purchase them for a small price with new content? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Aaaaw yeah! BRING ME SOME KIRBY TO FIGHT!
However this could be bad timed considering the approaching Smash Bros for 3DS. But for 5e… And for Kirby… .>

  2. Between this expansion and Toad Tracker, its good to see Nintendo taking their successful side games and making them more fleshed-out experiences. Hopefully MK8’s battle mode is next

    1. They might also do that, but making them standalone and as dlc updates would definitely be the best. That way, people with the game won’t have to re-buy the standalone games, and people with these standalone titles don’t have to buy the dlc for the mini games on the full triple deluxe package. That, or they could give a discount for triple deluxe to the people who buy these standalone, but I doubt that

  3. I would have preferred them at more powers from previous games since the DD Dash. Gets more levels. I would love to see DLC for past powers like games from squeak squad

  4. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual
appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads very quick for me on Firefox.
    Exceptional Blog!
