Here’s A Closer Look At The Red & Blue Transparent 2DS

New images of the new 2DS colours have been unveiled. For those thinking of purchasing a transparent red or blue 2DS, make sure you check out the pictures in the gallery below handily provided by NintenDaan. The new clear-cased 2DS will be available for purchase on November 7 in Europe, though if you’d like to opt for the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire bundles, you’ll find all the information in our previous post, here.

  1. The 2ds has been said to be more comfortable than the 3ds and XL and I have to agree while trying it at Nintendo World. Basically a better gaming experience but not as portable. Pick your poison.

    1. To some, I own it and don’t use it at all. The shoulder buttons are way out of reach for myself and im an adult. I don’t see how this would be comfortable for kids.

  2. Funny how everyone wants this but whines about the new 3DS. Maybe Nintendo should release new 3DS in clear case. Also who wants this outdated CPU when there is the new 3DS coming?.. Is there a new 2DS coming also?

  3. This actually makes me want a 2DS. My XL isn’t even half of a year old and I know i’ll get the new model next year but the nostalgia is real here lol. Makes me think of GameBoy – GBA and the carts for R/S/E. I miss the transparent consoles and controllers!!
