Super Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai has shared new details for the Wii U version pertaining to Amiibos. Though players have been knocking back the competition – or, alternatively, feeling the KO in the battle arenas – on the 3DS version, the game’s director still has plenty more to reveal in the upcoming weeks for the Wii U title. In today’s screenshot, Sakurai takes us through the Amiibo selection screen, where the Amiibo trophy magically transforms into a Figure Player – swirls and all.
While Amiibos, such as Pikachu, Link and Mario, will be compatible with Smash Bros Wii U on its rumoured November 21 release, 3DS users won’t be able to taste a flavour of the battle action until 2015, when a peripheral device launches for the handheld. Here’s what Sakurai said on Miiverse:
“For the first time ever in the Super Smash Bros. series, you can play with a collection of real-life trophies in the form of amiibo. Simply touch them on this part of the GamePad. This particular screen is dedicated to activating amiibo, but you can also tap your amiibo on the GamePad at the character-selection screen to let that character join the battle.”
“Once you do, the trophy of your amiibo character transforms into a Figure Player (FP)!! FPs fight and develop on their own.”

I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with saying first here. It’s not like this comment section is very active. It’s the same 30 people over and over again. So getting first in a empty room isn’t a big deal. Not that it’s cool in any situation, but here it makes even less sense
Its not a rumored date anymore
Its an official date now. Check the site.
I am Interested it how advance this A.I. can be.
Hopefully it’ll be better then the lvl 9 CPU enemies.
