Pikmin Short Movies Coming To Nintendo eShop On 3DS And Wii U

Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that Pikmin Short Movies will be released via the Nintendo eShop on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The film, which was premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival last month, is a compilation of three shorts: “The Night Juicer,” “Treasures in a Bottle” and “Occupational Hazards.” Miyamoto recently touched on the possibility of producing further films based on Pikmin or other Nintendo characters.

  1. I honestly don’t know what to think about these short films. But I hope they’re much better than Dinosaur Office and other Nintendo Videos were on 3DS.

  2. Dinosaur Office deserves its own damn show. Love the slow mo scenes. I like the idea, but really it depends on the length of these video’s. The Link Adventure’s short films are alright, just nothing to them really. Feel like I should finish that beautiful game at some point…

      1. Well, I find it very slow when you switch between apps. If you’re on netflix and have it idle for more then a few minutes you have to exit the app because it will only load 25%. Have you ever tried the xbox? They have friend popup notification when they log on, or send a message. You can invite them to games and/or parties. Their OS needs to integrate with the games a lot better I think.

  3. So what. Make a Pikmin 4 collecting treasure and going underground. Bring back Purple and Kill rock. Make White, Winged and Purple only able to multiply when tossing a red, blue or yellow Pikmin in a flower. Who gives a rats ass about some short film when Smash Bros. Wii U is coming.
