WayForward has finally confirmed that Shantae and the Pirates Curse for the Wii U will be launching on Christmas Day in the United States and will only set you back $20. Clearly a lot of you will be visiting the Wii U eShop on Christmas Day and giving the game a spin. Hopefully it lives up to expectations.

  1. Hell, Shovel Knight wasn’t even 20 bucs. It’s hard to justify an indie game over the 15 dollar mark in my opinion. You can get brand new 3ds games for 30.

    1. Shovel Knight had low dev costs, hence the retro artsyle. This is practically a complete next gen game in terms of developmental processes and graohics. Follow their Kickstarter updates
