Well, this gif courtesy of GadgetLove shows exactly how things have been refined throughout the years starting with the classic Nintendo Entertainment System controller all the way through to the Wii U GamePad. It’s interesting to see how Nintendo controllers were solid, traditional and grew increasingly better at first, then suddenly turn into some stick and a iPad for no reason

Actually, D-Pad on N64 was worst: It was hardly ever used at all and became a complete waste. lol
It was greatly used for dk64 and the banjo games.
Funny. Because I don’t remeber ever using the N64 D-Pad once.

suddenly I release I got all the Nintendo home consoles…. The best of the best is I think I still have them all (NES, SNES, N64: in my parent’s house , NGC, Wii, Wii U in mine)

My least favorite controller on a Ninendo console is a toss-up between the N64 and Wii remote/nunchuck. Both for awkward reasons. The Wii remote’s motion gameplay totally ruined many games on Wii. And the shape and awkward position of the analog stick made the N64 controller overly frustrating to use.
