Dual Bow Pit Amiibo Spotted

pit_dual_bow_amiibo

These Amiibo defects are becoming all the more fascinating. The latest one is a dual wielding Pit which admittedly does look rather awesome. If you’re interested, the Amiibo is currently up for sale on online auction site, eBay. It’s being sold in Euros, but the dollar equivalent at the time of writing is $301.97.

    1. Yeah this doesn’t make sense. Just got the Pit Amiibo, and unless the exact sword-wielding arm was place on the same figure twice, how can the non-weapons arm which is in a different pose get the same sword facing the correct way. Fishy…

  1. I call fake. The thumb and grip are in the correct positions as if he was dual-wielding. It’s not like there are two bow arms stuck to him, like the Samus amiibo.

  2. It is a defect. If you look, it is two right hands. Look specifically at the black cover on his hands. They come up between his index and middle fingers on each hand. However, in this one, his “left” hand (the one that shouldn’t have a bow) has it running between his ring and pinkie fingers. The hands are separate pieces, and the red guard on the left hand is attached to the arm, not the hand. I thought this was clearly fake as well until I noticed that.

      1. now that is a bullshit bid. 20 000 dollars on a cardboard and plastic box and a foil of tin, totally worth it. But seriously who the fuck would bid on this?

  3. How’s he gonna split them into four swords with only two hands?

Will his wings hold two of them?
    Will he use his feet?
Will he hold them with his teeth?
Will he tuck them in his armpits or elbows?
    This question must be answered.

  4. Same, fake, people are obviously trying to make money out of idiot collectors who don’t understand that these are easily modified.

  5. Okay I don’t believe in defect amiibos anymore. This is getting ridiculous. They are just manufactured by someone of some entity to create buzz or something. Either way Nintendo wins, so yayyy:D

  6. If u look close he has two right arms ones going the right way on his arm the right right one and what should be a left arm is a right one turned

  7. Off-the-wall

My cousin put in a Max bid of $1000 2Days ago. – He really wanted it. – He was phished by a 0 rated buyer yesterday who took the Bid over his Max!? – Suddenly the 0 rated buyers bids were withdrawn, minutes later?!?

Today 39 min BEFORE the bidding ended eBay UK link/post was already advertising Auction €838.00 – ‎In stock: https://www.google.com/search?q=dual+pit+ebay&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

eBay UK/Euro can legally do this – They Phish bidders & raising the stakes/bids.
They call it Chandelier or rafter bidding:

This is the practice, especially by high-end art auctioneers, of raising false bids at crucial times in the bidding process in order to create the appearance of greater demand or to extend bidding momentum for a work on offer. To call out these nonexistent bids, auctioneers might fix their gaze at a point in the auction room that is difficult for the audience to pin down.

In the United Kingdom, this practice is legal on property auctions up to but not including the reserve price, and is also known as off-the-wall bidding.

  8. Its so easy to take an Amiibo out of the box without damaging the artwork at all. Just cut the bottom of the box and slip the amiibo out. Really easy.

There’s a reason most sellers dont show you the entire box from top to bottom
