Crunchyroll App Now Available On Wii U In Europe

Thousands of episodes of anime shows are now available on Wii U. Starting today, Wii U owners with a broadband Internet connection can access the Crunchyroll application, a leading global destination and platform for anime, Asian dramas and more.

Now Wii U owners can have access to more than 25,000 episodes and 15,000 hours of hit licensed content, including the most popular current and classic shows like Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Sword Art Online and Hunter x Hunter. It’s a great match for Wii U, which continues to offer a wide variety of video game and entertainment options, with games like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Mario Kart 8 as well as on-demand movies and TV shows through various premium streaming services.

To access Crunchyroll, Wii U owners can download the free application from the Nintendo eShop, which will allow premium Crunchyroll members to begin watching immediately. Crunchyroll premium members have access to the newest episodes of currently airing shows as soon as 1 hour after they air in Japan, all ad-free. Wii U owners who aren’t yet Crunchyroll members can sign up for a 14-day free trial of premium membership via the application or at the Crunchyroll website.

  1. Only good version of the crunchy roll app on consoles is the Xbox 1 version as you can watch shows without a subscription and have adds. Unlike the wii u version what requires a subscription.

      1. You got me there. I guess only the playstation version sucks ass as it had the worst of both the xbox and wii u version

  2. Crunchy is annoying. While legal other sites give you stuff even earlier without any membership plus more series that Crunchy doesn’t have and will never have.

  3. Crunchyroll is really good if you actually pay money to subscribe, guys -_-

I wouldn’t expect it to be good for free; how’re they even supposed to make money that way?
