XSEED Teases Their 2015 Releases With A Lovely New Year Image

xseed_2015

It seems as though XSEED is about to unleash a number of titles this year. The company produced a banner which it put on Facebook teasing their twenty fifteen releases. A number of these have already leaked due to recent domain name acquisitions. These titles include Corpse Party: Blood Drive, Lord of Magna, Trails of Cold Steel and Xanadu Next. Sounds like there’s plenty of games to look forward to this year courtesy of XSEED.

  1. Is the banner for both the Japanese and western market? Because I’m pretty sure Corpse Party: Blood Drive already came out last year in Japan.

  2. You have to hand it to companies like XSEED and Marvelous who not only cater to niches but also constantly localize games even though they are smaller companies. Larger publishers could learn a lot from them.

  3. I hope they make or at least localize games for the Wii U. Even though I didn’t play The last Story which i heard was a good game, I’ve played Pandora’s Tower for the Wii which was also a good game.

And no i don’t mean Nintendo eshop games.

    1. They already made Little Kings Story 2 and it came out in 2012. It was just called New Little King’s Story and exclusive to the Vita. I liked it but as far as strategy, it was basically the same as the first game. A lot of people get confused and think that it was a port of the original game but if you have played both games you can clearly see they’re different.

Unfortunately, even the publisher this time around (Konami) mixes people up by advertising the game as an upgraded version of the first.

New Little King’s Story starts with Corobo already ruling his new Kingdom there’s a battle and then stuff happens (I won’t spoil it because you should play it!). The second game follows more of a JRPG/visual novel style to tell the story. There aren’t any cutscenes like the first game. Different story, different way the game progresses, different environments, bosses, etc. Bottom line is, they’re different games.

  4. Ridley, the Angel of Death

How many of those games are even coming to the Nintendo 3DS & Wii U? If only one or two, the article should have just told us of those. Bleh! I come to read news articles so I DON’T have to hunt down what’s coming to the consoles I do have.
