You may have seen that the Xbox One was the best-selling hardware in the United States during December, but what was the best-selling software? The NPD group has revealed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the best-selling game during the Christmas period. There’s still hope for Nintendo fans as Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U held on to fourth place, beating the likes of Minecraft and Destiny. Here’s the best-sellers in the US.

  1. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. Madden NFL 15
  4. Super Smash Bros
  5. NBA 2K15
  6. Minecraft
  7. Far Cry 4
  8. Just Dance 2015
  9. Destiny
  10. FIFA 15

    1. Because people want it. Nintendo was moronic to not pursue and put the game on their system. Minecraft sells on everything it’s ever been on… it just “does.”

I think he’s asking how it continues to sell so much when it’s been out for so long. It’s like everyone buys it for every device they own.

      2. Its boring and too late to do anything about it. Minecraft creator never had Nintendo in his mind anyway and was rather busy making so many SMALL updates as excuses to not port it over but also shit on the fans by trolling them on Twitter despite that the demand and opportunity for this on Wii U was very high.

And Nexis trying to scam Kickstarter money from Nintendo fans thinking they’re stupid to shell money for their laughable knockoff so that they can pprt it over to other platforms without Kickstater support anyway? Another dickmove from another dickhead dev wanting to make Nintendo/fans look like fools only wanting “colorful” & “kiddy” games.

This is why I have no respect for 3rd parties anymore. They’re selfish and manipulative.

  1. Always love your articles sickr, “beating the likes of”, also the games listed above are fair and square in terms of sales

  2. This looks just as bad as the usual UK lists. I didn’t contribute to ANY of these sells, except for Smash Bros. The rest is CRAP!

  5. Ridley, the Angel of Death

This proves my statement on another article. While Nintendo of America gets dumber, Nintendo of Europe gets smarter; while Nintendo of America customers buy more, Nintendo of Europe customers buy less. IRONY TO THE MAX!!!
