This week’s Japanese gaming charts are now in via Media Create. Yokai Watch 2 continues to take the market by storm with a steady amount of sales each week, while Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire sticks closely and remains in second place. Spike Chunsoft’s newest 3DS title Kenka Bancho 6 manages to take third place, but the top 20 software charts largely remain unchanged.
Hardware sales this week have decreased yet again for Wii U and 3DS. The latter system sells 44k in combined efforts from its new and old consoles, while the Wii U takes a 2k dip and sells just under 9k this week. Animal Crossing has such long legs! :o
Blurst!
I hate our Homeworld…
Why???
They don’t buy Wii Us, they rather play Appling garbage which is just as bad or worse than Xbots…
I wouldn’t worry too much, what hardware sales can’t do, software sales more than makes up for it…
In terms of Wii U hardware, then it’s back to normal, hovering between 4 figures and 5 figures. On the software front, it’s well and truely Nintendodomination. I’m curious, with how well Mario Kart 8 has sold, has it surpassed 4 Million copies sold worldwide yet? Also, how long do you guys think it would take Mario Kart 8 to become the best selling Wii U game? Also, will Smash Bros for Wii U be the better seller or not? How much is Smash Bros for Wii U at worldwide? Ugh, so many questions!!!!!!!
Chill Out, we all know Nintendo is Top Quality
Damn. Animal Crossing is still up there
300 hundred xboxes sold :p
Every time I see that yokai watch cat I get excited that it might be new for west localization and then my dreams are crushed soon after.
why play yokai watch when you can play pokemon. :)
Because Yokai Watch is better and actually innovates why Pokemon is the same shit over and over cause fanboys can’t stand changes.
yokai watch has been out for two years while pokemon has been around for decades. let’s see how innovative it is years from now.
am livign my wosrt nightmare Xbox One – 300 :'(
*I’m

*worst
It’s called spelling, clearly not your strong point…
It is post Christmas, three weeks deep. People have other obligations. Nintendo sold the most this holiday in Japan, as in every Holiday. Software sales are up, and the are running the top 40. Top ten games is all Nintendo, as in the are making that MONEY!!!!!!
F=ma
this can’t be happening… :'(
Does it really help to be informed weekly about Japan sales?
