Here’s A Gameplay Trailer For Pokken Tournament

In case you missed it there was a live stream showcasing the upcoming Pokken Tournament. We’ve already reported that Suicune, Gardevoir and Pikachu will appear in the fighting title. Now we’ve finally got some gameplay footage of the arcade title in action. Admittedly it’s a little grainy, but it will do until we get an official trailer for the game.

  1. I saw the picture and thought it was a Gardevoir figurine or amiibo being released, but I guess this news will suffice as well.

          1. Suicune and lucario are some of the better looking post gen 1 pokemon. Gardevoir looks retarded. I thought this was only going to have fighting types, but since that’s not the case I hope they add more Gen 1. Scyther, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Electabuzz, and my favorite, the most powerful pokemon of all time, Psyduck.

            1. Heroponluigi, How does Gardevoir looks “Retarded”? It’s definitely one of the “Better looking post gen 1 Pokemon”, too. I’m a Gardevoir fan and you just can’t call such as nice Pokemon “Retarded” like that.

On the topic, I’m happy to see Gardevoir being playable. I’m not sure if it’s because Kalos’s Champion main it, because of fanservice, or both. I also didn’t expect a Pokemon like Suicune to be playable.

      1. He’s a fighting type so I’m sure he’ll be in. I actually have a Gallade as well, but Ralts was the first pokemon I caught when I played my first pokemon game so it’s just good memories for me.

        1. I doubt it. I don’t think they’re going to bother putting Gallade cause Gardevoir is already in. And she’s more popular.

      1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

Of course not, guess when my birthday is and you’ll receive a ticket to see my new Dark Sanctuary Fortress…

  2. I’m hispanic, but even I feel a little shamed about the commentary going on. Play this on mute, you’ll thank me.

      1. You never know man.I guess if it gets really popular in Japan maybe they will make it a wii u japanese exlusive(i hope not)

  3. Already calling it pikachu is going to be OPed because how small he is. Unless they increase his hit box to a rediculous size.

  4. If this game doesn’t come to wii u ill be dropping the wii u. I’m already thinking of going handheld only. Since over the years I find I buy way more handheld games than nintendo console games. I have next to nothing in my wii u library and I’ve has it since Feb ’13! I’m thinking of getting a PS4 for all those remastered games I missed on last gen since I’ve been nintendo only for some time.

  5. Anyone here old enough to recall when Killer Instinct came out in the arcades? When it was giving people a peek at the Ultra64 ( later changed to Nintendo64). I mean the controllers, and it looks like the WiiU would have an aneurysm trying to pull it off. Maybe it’s wishful thinking.

    1. That’s what everyone said for Mario Kart and Smash Bros. Sure it brought sales in but not a lot of sales to make the wii u be close in numbers with the ps4.

      1. well that would be because they’ve never released pokemon console games ever worth purchasing, I mean pokemon rumble U, Hey you pikachu, they always keep the best pokemon games for their handhelds, but this game could be really awesome and sell extremely well. I hope it finds its way to wii u.

        1. Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness are IMO both amazing games….i also did like stadium and battle revolution…yet look at those games….there says were not bad to say the least but compared to the handhelds….yeah. Still i like i said this will be a great game to have on wii u none the less.

          1. I wans’t implying it would move hardware, but as far as software goes I can easily seeing it hit the 1-2 million mark if it was put on wii u.

  6. For sure….if they can at least out this on the Wii U in Japan then they won’t be able to provide enough wii U’s to go around….seems like a no brainer

  7. Everyone knows when something makes perfect sense, No ten do us the first to be dumb. Why it this on an arcade and not think about putting it on the Wii U during R&D?. That was stupid.

  8. Got to retype. I dropped my phone in the water and it is acting like Dumbtendo.

When it comes to perfect sense Nintendo is the first to be dumb. Why during R&D didn’t Nintendo make a console version and just release it after the arcade version? That was stupid. Knowing Nintendo saying it takes longer to make games for Wii U. If Nintendo’s dumbass made the game at the same time it would have been played in my console sooner than later. But Nintendo is dumb and stupid when it comes to common sense. Alsi stupud for not making Amiibos for this game. When Nintendo has a sales oppurtunity for Wii U for some dumb reason they dont take the bait.

    1. Because this is how fighting games work…this is nothing new to people who play fighters. Arcade version always come out before consoles version. the arcade version are most likely betas for people to test out so developers can take feedback and improve on them for the console versions…since most console version of arcade fighters are the Superior versions.

      1. Test a fighting game? That’s stupid. Isn’t that what R&D is for? You test it on the Wii U, over 1000 times to work the bugs out. You hire gamers to test it in their R&D to get feedback etc etc. The same game on an arcade is a different experience on Wii U. That’s flat out stupid. But Nintendo is stupid. Knowing Dumbtendo, they would put it on 3Ds over the Wii U anyway. When it comes to common sense that will help the Wii U, Nintendo doesn’t have any.

          1. You sure. They did dumber things like don’t do jack shit when Microsoft took Rare, thought about putting Pikmin on 3Ds and was stupid for removing Luigi Mansion franchise off home console to a hanheld. Hell they could have even put money down to keep Rayman an exclusive.

          2. Also we asked for Gamecube games for Wii U, and their dumbasses gives us Wii gamesthat can’t even work the gamepad. Stupid for not making that happen when game was in development.

              1. So why can’t they make the Gamepad work Wiimode and the N64 games off that? hould have thought bout that in R&D. Waste of gigs for an update just to get Gamepad to be another screen.

              2. You right Hallograpej. The Wii U is weak. I got kicked off Netflix. They asked me to select another episode.

                1. Your connection with Netflix has nothing to do with the power of the console. It’s most likely your internet speed.

          3. Also stupid for charging $40 for a pro controller that’s limited on games. Should have made Pro controller work on alllllll games like classic controller during R&D. That’s dumbtendo for you.

  10. Did I tell you. I watched a movie on Netflix. Because Dumbtendo thought it would be a great idea to make a console a little bit more powerful than the PS3, I couldn’t finish my movie. Stupid for not thinking of horsepower to work Netflix in 2008. Nintendo was stupid when they made the Wii U. The 2015 Hyundai Sonata isn’t selling like the 2011 sonata did. Unlike Nintendo about the Wii U, Hyundai is working on another redesigned Sonata. for 2017. At least Hyundai knows where they made a mistake at and is correcting the problem by adding more MPG and a more different style to compete. Where as Dumbtendo still thinks a 32gig Wii U is great in 2015. And Dumbtendo wonders why Xbox One passed Wii U in sales.
