News filtered through this morning from the Famitsu stream for Pokken Tournament. You’ll be pleased to know that Suicune, Gardevoir and Pikachu will appear in the fighting title from Bandai Namco. The stream also revealed that support Pokemon can be used to help out. The Pokken Tournament Location arcade tests run from next week in Japan. They’re 100 Yen per play.

You think Suicune will be playable? That’ll be very different for a traditional fighting game to have a quadruped fighter… although I guess it’s hard to avoid with Pokemon!

Well, actually, there’s the XB1/PS4 port of Injustice, though that’s also on Wii U. Guilty Gear Xrd is an incredible fighter from the creators of BlazBlue and Persona 4 Arena, as well as an unexpected return to a franchise that Sega practically stole from underneath them several years back. There’s also Mortal Kombat X, but I’ve never played the game (nor is it out yet) yet so I can’t speak for it yet.
Wii U for life! Nintendo Forever! This game looks great! Something both Sony and Microsoft will never have!
