Geoff Keighley Confirms That The Game Awards Will Be Back Later This Year

Last year’s Game Awards were considered by many to be a success, so it’s great to hear from Geoff Keighley that they will be back again this year. There was a ton of fantastic Nintendo content showcased during last year’s award ceremony, so here’s hoping that the same can be said of this year’s show. It’s more than likely to take place again in December.

Thanks, Pablo

  1. Nintendo can’t exactly top what they did last year though. That Zelda reveal was fantastic.

Well they could top it in one way. Cranky Kong Country Returns.

      1. After seeing the positive press Nintendo got, I expect Sony and Microsoft to have a bigger presence next time because that’s what they do best. Copy.

How is he pathetic if he’s right? Not our fault Sony & Microsoft have a tendency of trying to copy Nintendo. Look no further than Microsoft’s Smartglass & the PS Vita being turned into a PS4 peripheral so they can have their very own Gamepad knockoff.

It’s competition. The idea of using real life objects to have some sort of effect in a video game has been around for decades. Likewise, some people have said the Kinect copies the Wii remote, which it really did not. Microsoft jumped on the motion control bandwagon, but they did something completely different with it. There’s a difference between copying and inspiring.

              1. Which was in development WAY before the Wii was even conceived. I hate the ignorants who don’t even try to research when the info is right in front of them and choose to act like retards
