The well-known Tilmen from Nintendomination has managed to get his hands on some super rare amiibo figures which he’s shared with everyone on YouTube. You can watch an unboxing video for Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles in the video above and one for Meta Knight from the Kirby series, below. I’m not sure how he managed to acquire the amiibo figures, but I’m certainly envious.

some look cool but the unboxing should only be of something very rare like for example a gold plated 3ds with golden cartridge. That would be worth unboxing unboxing an amiibo it maybe silly but to those that really want it only pisses them off

The only Amiibo I got that I haven’t opened yet is Rosalina, from a combination of her being rare and a maybe a sense of pride that I have one that that douchebag degenerate who hoarded over 100 of them is never going to get.

I got Shulk, but my friend kinda cost me Sonic and Mega Man- the two I wanted most of all.
Best Buy is supposed to get a few non pre-orders tomorrow of Mega Man and maybe Sonic. My store only has 1 Mega Man for tomorrow they said lol. But yea check Best Buy if you have any near you and call them like NOW if you can to see if they will have them in the morning lol.
Lol see now i’m too broke to afford it. A friend went up there last week to pick up the 3 I had on preorder but didn’t have all the money I gave her so she decided to go back Friday (apparently that’s the longest they told he they would hold them) and then Friday came and she just didn’t feel like going. Told them she’d go Saturday but obviously that was too late. Somehow they came across another Shulk and called me so I was able to go get that but as for the other two apparently i’m SOL. It’s just bills all the rest of the month for me I suppose haha.
Turns out they were having shipping errors with Mega Man & Sonic and hadn’t gotten them until yesterday. The people who called me and said they had my preorders actually had 3 Shulks set aside, but called yesterday to tell me they fixed it and had the other 2 held for me. These things are a fucking headache to buy, i’d lose my mind trying to collect them all.
Not surprising on the shipping error lol. No information about amiibo releases seems to be set in stone. And yea collecting them all can be insane. I’m actually semi close to having them all and I wasn’t really expecting to lol. I met some guy when Toon Link and Bowser released early and since then him and I have been hunting together. It’s sad lol. But hey at least I have met cool people.
I have to agree with a few people on here. A video on unboxing an Amiibo is so stupid. The damn packaging is clear FFS! You can see the Amiibo through the plastic! Haha.. An unboxing is for things that are enclosed in a box, so your not sure what the contents look like. Or for special edition software or hardware..

Found Shulk, Dedede and Meta Knight today, Sweden, Stockholm in BR leksaker. ( toy store ) Webhallen didn’t get any, I even pre ordered from them and still only got Megaman and Sonic. So if you’re interested and live in Sweden, have a look.
