Nintendo of Europe and Australia have announced a release date for Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush on Wii U. The latest pink puffball adventure has been available in North America since last month, where it is more affectionately known as Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, but fans in PAL regions will soon be able to join the colourful clay club. The game, which sees players roll Kirby’s claymation shape across a variety of levels by drawing rainbow-roped tracks with the GamePad, is due to arrive on May 8 in Europe and just one day later on May 9 for Australia and New Zealand.
Originally, Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush was scheduled for the second half of 2015 in Europe – an odd choice, perhaps, given the early release date for North America. The Wii U title currently resides with a 76 Metacritic score, with many reviewers praising the gorgeous aesthetics but criticising the poorly conceived control scheme.

man that’s late XD
may you better not delay splatoon
May? It’s been out in Murica for quite some time, so you’d think that it should take little time to localize for Europe.
This better not hint at Splatoon releasing months after May in Europe. Region lock’s a b*%€#.
I know it’s late but happy Mar10 Day everyone.
Rainbow Paintbrush lol your game sounds lame!
Our names are a lot better. Silly yankeedoodle.
you know that was actually a phrase created by the British to make fun of Americans. are you British?
