Update: Well, that was fast. Nintendo of America has changed the date in their Facebook status to May 2015.
This could be absolutely nothing, but the Nintendo of America Facebook page is currently stating that Splatoon is coming this summer. The European leaked listing has the game down for May 29th and the official strategy guide for the game on Amazon US has it down for May 31st. June is technically the start of summer, but May 29th is basically borderline on it. Let’s hope we get a Nintendo Direct soon to clear up any confusion regarding the release date for the highly anticipated game.

Not a matter of not being able to handle cursing. Simple fact that these “team based games” never benefit from having in-game chat and it only makes them worse. Anyone who takes team games seriously use something along the lines of Ventrilo/Skype while gaming.
That’s pointless. If you’re going to use voice chat, just use it from the game. Why would you use a separate application? And wouldn’t others also need to use Skype for that to work?

I want it. I got one. But it sits in my closet. I took it off the shelf yesterday when I realized I hadn’t turned it on since Mario Kart 8 released.

It has to come out in Spring. It just has to. No reason to pit it against other Summer games. It isn’t like Nintendo has a huge selection of titles planned for release this year either, so they have to spread them out. ONE game has to come out in the Spring, I would hope.

I’ve just never really been into party games all that much. Plus I literally would have no one to play the game with because it has no online. I rarely ever have friends over cause I live far from them. So I’m not too into buying a game I’d never really play.
Other than that, I pretty much have 100% completed every other Wii U game worth playing atm. As to why it hasn’t seen much use these days.
