You Can Now Buy Clear Amiibo Cases Which Look Pretty Neat

amiibo-clear-case

If you want something nice to display your amiibo collection in then you may want to think about purchasing a number of these stylish clear amiibo cases. The cases are available via reputable Japanese importer, PlayAsia. They aren’t particularly expensive and would make your display look just that bit better.

Thanks, Nintendo Impact Gaming!

    1. No.

I agree that this is a pretty neat idea but as a collector, it has to be in the original box in near-mint to mint condition.

    2. No.

This is a pretty neat idea but as a collector myself, we all prefer to keep them in their original boxes in near-mint to mint condition. The collectors who did open them will probably or hopefully have a nice display case or something besides these.

I really like this idea, but does it matter to actual collector’s?

    3. The same collectors that probably still have boxed-up NES and/or N64 cartridges will most likely not bother with this.

But hey, at least these won’t be in short stock anytime soon :x

      1. I was originally interested in Ike and Bowser, but after all those stock issues of the first and second wave, in addition to the lack of useful content they offer, I lost interest in them rather quickly.
        How about you? :)

        1. I can get you a bowser tomorrow if interested, regular price, plus small discount, with whatever shipping it would take :)

          1. Aw, thanks a lot for the nice offer, it’s super considerate of you! You really don’t have to though, it’s not only the availability of the amiibo that made me lose interest, but also the content they offer in games just doesn’t seem to be worth it for me personally, so I don’t intend to get any of them anymore.
But thanks a bunch anyway, I really appreciate it! :)

            1. Random topic but on-point with this:
Watch: soon, amiibo functions in games won’t even matter in the long run. At least not to third-parties. Soon, probably not even Nintendo.

  1. Tempting…but not yet. I’m constantly scanning them all into Hyrule Warriors and potentially other titles in the future. So when I plan on storing them in a few years from non use, I’ll invest $$$ on these cases.

    1. Are you stupid? Amiibos are CHEAP compared to most figurines that do absolutely nothing. None of the come with cases.

        1. Anonymous was addressing your comment in that regard because you mentioned the price of $14, which is why he brought up the cheapness of the figurines. Your second comment about impressing people with the case wasn’t implied within your first comment, again in part because you brought up the $14 price point.
Not to defend him totally, either, but the better comparison should be made not to other regular figurines (which usually are made of resin instead of just pvc which I assume amiibo are), but to Skylanders and Infinity figures. In that regard, it can be argued that they’re not the cheapest as they rarely go on sale and the figures are usually smaller for the price than Skylanders and Infinity figures. Disney will also sometimes release figures with special display cases (most recently Nick Fury), but it’ll cost about $4-5 extra – but this amiibo case is also being imported from PlayAsia which constitutes the higher price, too.

Chillax, guys. I know this is the internet, but it IS possible to have civil discussions if you want.

  2. They look better MOSC. These are just the same as beanie baby cubes. Except amiibo already come glued on cards… sooo just keep them MOSC… therefore this is dumb.

  3. To clarify… if your going to open them that’s great… but you can get a nice glass case for them while not in use… not this junk.

  4. I like the zipper top Question Block case they have.

I just keep mine in the packaging! Keeps em’ toasty!

  5. I'm a Boss Ass Bitch

Wouldn’t it slide in the case if move it? If that’s the case than this is a fucking ripoff.

  6. if it’s $10 for just one case then that is a rip off given the fact that Skylanders had a similar product that you could buy that had three cases for $15

  7. Pretty cool. But I only have like 4 or 5 opened amiibos. And nowhere to sit them. GOSH I have too much stuff!

  8. If only them came in bulk at a discounted-per-unit price… Ten bucks each for countless Amiibo is a bit pricey for me… And my OCD won’t permit me to buy just one or two – I would need one for each Amiibo.
