Fancy yourself quite the artist? Nintendo of America are holding a Splatoon Art Contest for residents of the US and Canada (boo!) It’s simple, submit your Splatoon themed artwork and be in with the chance of winning the Grand Prize of a Wii U system with Splatoon, or one of 5 First Prizes of a Splatoon game. What the judges are looking for are:
- Spirit: how well the artwork encompasses your enthusiasm
- Creativity: how well the artwork demonstrates creativity
- Quality: the overall artistic quality of the artwork
To submit your entries, get yourself signed up to Tumblr (if you’re not already) and upload your work using the tags #Splatoon #GetInked #NintendoContestEntry. Contest closes on May 29th at 10pm (PT), and they’ll judge them around June 5th and let the winners know through Tumblr messaging. Take a look at the official rules if you’re interested.
Here’s what I’m thinking: Post your awesomest, most squidtastic Splatoon-themed artwork on Tumblr and tag it with #Splatoon, #GetInked and #NintendoContestEntry so we can find it. We’ll even give out some cool prizes for the ones we like best! The report is due on May 29, so you’ve got until then to show us what you’ve got. Y’all are the best! Give it a try! I didn’t get good at painting and drawing by “wishing.” I tried and tried again and again until I made progress. I’m a huge art enthusiast! It is an awesome outlet and helps translate what goes on in your head into incredible pieces of tangible admiration.
I love seeing the stuff that goes on in people’s heads, from the good, the bad, to the down-right creepy and distorted.

For some different clients, I am a freelancer, I used to work on a company here in Brazil, but freelancing is better, its hard to get money sometimes, but it’s indeed a fun job!
