There are still a couple more for you to play, but also Nintendo Treehouse got you covered with a video of them playing the first Global Testfire along with you guys, as part of the Squid Research Lab team. If you can’t make any of the slots then take a look at some actual gameplay of the highly anticipated Splatoon game, and judging from people’s reactions, it’s pretty awesome. What do you think to the Splatoon Global Testfire? We only have to wait until it releases at the end of the month on May 28th/29th to play it fully!

    1. Yep crazy fun. Man I enjoyed that test fire event last night. This game is a day one buy for me.

      1. Might be a stupid question, but what’s the difference between Splattershot Jr. and Splattershot? I played both during the Testfire but couldn’t really tell anything that’s different about them. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question!

  1. I played the first, and just finished playing the second. This game is AWESOME!! I’m so happy I preordered. Btw, there were almost no server issues this time. I connected the first time I tried every time except once, and I connected on the second try. There was zero lag, and I was never kicked out of the game. It seems Nintendo fixed whatever issue they were having with there server the first time:)

    1. Dude, one time I beat three rollers in a row all chasing after me cause I was by their base. The key to beating rollers is to back up while shooting, and to not get close when they try to bait you. DONT FALL FOR THEIR TRAP!!

  2. Really fun, can’t wait to play with all the weapons and mix and match stuff. I think one thing is how would you setup a team strategy interms of which weapons to go into battle with without voice chat or chat in general? Also, it’s not always easy to find your teammates, voice chat would help there….although the direct showed a beacon concept for that so we’ll see how that works out

    1. I was annoyed at no voice chat at first, but then when I played the demo I didn’t feel there was a need for voice chat, everyone kind of knew what to do and where to go cause they could see on the gamepad. You can also see where your teammates are on the gamepad so I always knew. No need for voicechat.

  3. Pretty fun game. Tried out all the weapons available and it would seem that even in a game like Splatoon i’m still a SMG guy. After a few matches the motion controls became tolerable and then strategies started to come to me. The demo is pretty great so I can only imagine the depth that gear and other weapons, etc. will add. Can’t wait for the full game!

Also Rollers don’t seem OP at all, they’re somewhat easy to take out if you’re paying attention.

    1. What do you mean tolerable? The motion controls work perfectly, unless you don’t ever use the c stick for wide turns like your supposed to, and mess it up. But they are extremely good for aiming.

      1. Perfect for you maybe, but to me it wasn’t as “second nature” as I would have liked. It was a bit much at first but as time went on I adjusted to it, although it still seems a bit slower/clunkier to me. I think if I had to choose between just controls sticks or using the motion controls AND both control sticks AND resetting the camera with the Y button when needed i’d probably just choose control sticks.

Once again that was just MY impression after only an hour of gameplay and I definitely want to use the GamePad motion controls a bit more for the fun of it at least, but from the small slice I played I don’t think the controls felt better or more responsive than just analog sticks or even the Wii Remote & Nunchuck have for shooters in the past.

  4. I'm a Boss Ass Bitch

I knew I’d be boss at this game. Got scores that were over a 1000 and 8 or 4 kills a game.

  5. Hey you peeps. In that video, it was confirmed that there is colour lock for people who are colourblind. The guy said it at 1:18:44

  6. wonderful submit, very informative. I ponder why the opposite specialists of
this sector don’t notice this. You must proceed your writing.
