Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Ships 3.4 Million Units Worldwide

Capcom have published their latest financial results for the last fiscal year, and revealed that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has shipped 3.4 million units worldwide, 1 million of which was in the West. You might think that’s a success, but they had actually aimed to ship 3.9 million units in their last prediction, but perhaps that was a little ambitious. They already have plans for the series in the next fiscal year though. They’ve listed a new “title related to Monster Hunter” for the Nintendo 3DS, which is likely to be Monster Hunter Stories, of which they hope to ship 2.5 million units by March 31st 2016.

    1. Very fun. First timers might need to get used to it a little, so I recommend just practicing with all the weapons until you get a good feel for it, then it will all be a breeze. It is just one of those games that is good all around, and it can be very challenging. There is so much to do in the game to keep you coming back for more.

I love all the attention to detail in MH games, it really gets you immersed into the game. You can play it easily without a circle pad pro or New 3DS also, if you don’t have either.

If you had a place to start, I’d say MH4U is it. In my opinion it is the best one so far.

  2. If Capcom can finally realize that we give a fuck about Monster Hunter.
Than Nintendo can get some balls and do some things for the fans once in awhile. Just saying. I love this news though. Let the Hunts Continue. (Still planning on getting the game just have the demo and veteran player)
