LEGO Dimensions Will Be Supported For Three Years With New Content

GameSpot sat down with creative director of LEGO Dimensions, Jon Burton, who shared lots of information about the new game including a cool little idea that originally, the villains were going to be the original 1974 Lego family, but more importantly that they have a plan of action for content up until 2018. This means that Warner Bros. won’t be taking the same approach as Disney Infinity or Skylanders in yearly releases and won’t be releasing another Starter Pack, but instead release more different packs with lots of new content to keep the game fresh for another 3 years.

  1. Nintendo is My Blood Reborn

That’s actually a pretty cool approach
Though that won’t change the fact they’ll exploit it with dozens of new packs every month.

That’s what amiibos unlock. The Lego packs unlock completely new worlds based on the franchise of the characters that you buy.

  2. Portal 2 is finally in Lego…. I liked the previous prototype version, it was before this was here, a lot of potential new pieces.
