Yoshi’s Woolly World and Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash Highlighted In Nintendo’s Power Half-Hour

Nintendo has showcased some additional footage of the cute as a button gameplay from Yoshi’s Woolly World. As part of the Nintendo Power Half-Hour shown earlier during YouTube Live at E3, host Geoff Keighley was joined by Ali Rapp from the Nintendo Treehouse to highlight some of the adorable features found within the platform title. If you missed any of the action for the upcoming Wii U game, which showcased local co-op play, a few secrets and the inclusion of a yarn Mario Yoshi pattern, make sure you take a look at the video embedded above.

Though Nintendo’s Power Half-Hour didn’t show us much in terms of new footage, we did get a great look at the new Chibi-Robo amiibo. Nintendo Treehouse’s Ali Rapp confirmed the 3DS game – entitled Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash – will come bundled with the amiibo, though more will be revealed during the Nintendo Digital Event tomorrow.

I wonder what Nintendo will have for tomorrow at E3 to announce, MS just announced Rare Replay for XboxOne (it has 30 Rare games from NES to Xbox360 including all 3 banjo games, JetForceGemini,BattleToads, Conker etc and costs only 30 bucks!) Shit! If anything MS has killed Ps4 exclusives wise imo!

Cant wait for tomorrow, Nintendo must blow the competition away and announce DKR DLC for MK8 and Metroid and some other cool shit!

Sony has been so lame though that its not funny anymore…

Oh boy! They do count, i fucking love N64 era Rare! Im sure the image quality will be bit cleaner than in N64 too. Man, this is something i always wished Nintendo to do, a disc full of classics. Also Rare Replay would give me less reasons to use N64(just like MM,SF64 and OOT3d).

Its sad though that Sega isnt at E3, they used to be so great :(

Anyways, im sure Nintendo´s Digital Event will be better than MS at E3, i mean NIntendo makes best games and stuff. It was just great to see Rare doing something great after all the bs kinect games.

Heres hoping for Metroid,DKR2 and StarFox WiiU trailer for tomorrow.

Yeah….talking about current war, that new Rare game Thieves of Sea or something like that, didnt exactly look that great….But then again the real Rare is at Playtonic making Yooka-Laylee. Rare Replay is in a sad and cool way the greatest thing the company has done with MS.

Such a shame that both Rare&Sega these days are such a fuck ups for the most part.

              >>>Specially the Segans, they were my favourite ones during my early days as a simple warrior without any real loyalty to anyone, but then Nintendo caught me and molded me into what I am today>>>

              >>>Rare definately had a few of the defining games for me ever, specially Perfect Dark which I still consider to be ahead of its time and the best FPS to date>>>

I loved Dreamcast, Nintendo and Sega were pretty equal to me. All the trouble started when they merged with that pachinko company, i wish Nintendo can someday somehow save them.

                  >>>The Segans should submit to our rule to save themselves further embarassment>>>

        1. The Rare collection makes me want an XBO (ducks head).

My wife is head over heels for the new “Yoshi”, but I was hoping for a little light spillage from Nintendo during the YouTube presentation. A small announcement or even a date for Yoshi would have been nice.

I’m guessing Ninty is still waiting to see which games they can finish before the Fall, and they’ll place “Wooly World” accordingly. Early October seems like a great spot – “Super Mario Maker” needs a little space to shine with its September release.

                >>>I’m stating a fact and you come here with irrelevant futile pleadings>>>

                >>>Mind your own business or fall down the hole of eternity battling me if you prefer that, your choice>>>

Yeah, im wondering are they close finishing SFWiiU, they said it releases before Zelda but that can mean anything, i have bad feeling its delayed unless its “episodic” release. Im wondering now that Retro and Monster Games are present at E3 will the new game be collaboration between them to like that year old rumour suggested that they are working together on Diddy Kong Racing2? It would make sense because Retro got experience with MK7 and Nintendo trademarked Diddy Kong not long ago…Well tomorrow we´ll see.

Nintendo brings out n64 games to Wii U and people love it. Xbox brings back of Rare’s greatest games and they are critcized for bringing old games.

          >>>And I never counted what Nintendo did either with non current generation games and I’m not criticising anything>>>

          >>>I have to admit, it looked great, however, it’s the Electron Army and their final results are always garbage>>>

              >>>As long as the current Electron leaders are in charge, it will never happen, also, I am starting to grow some sort of respect to the Xbot Leader Phile Spencer, I hate them all but he managed to avoid any disaster today in terms of technical issues, he is a growing threat>>>

  2. So what was the point of that half hour show if they didn’t really show us anything new?

Stop wasting my time… I will wait for the digital event.

  3. The 30 in 1 Rare collection may just be the “killer app” for the One for me, especially if it contains the Live non-slow down version of Tooie in it. They already impressed me greatly with the fact that its going to have a bunch of their ZX Spectrum stuff, JetPac Refueled and the first time we will see a home port of the arcade version of BattleToads. The only let down is they have the N64 Killer Instinct Gold and not the actual arcade versions of KI & KI2.

  4. But anyway does anyone know if EVERY copy of Chibi-Robo is going to be coming with the amiibo? I threw up a reserve on it as soon as it went up at a local store just in case.

  5. Is it me or is she extremly flirting? Especially around 5min when they talk about the nfc chip and she says: “It’s in his butt…that’s how you do it” …. with that look in her face…

    1. Lmao definitely flirting. At least she was the guy was kinda like we’re at work time to be serious nd stuff
