Mario and Luigi have set out on another adventure which is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. The game its titled Mario & Luigi Paper Jam and it will be out in Spring 2016. Maybe it will be released earlier in Europe, we shall have to wait and see.

OMG… That E3 SUCKED!! WiiU is abandoned! Did they even have 3 games for it? Other than Chronicles X , StarFox, and Wolly World? All previously announced. Wow. Im a fan of WiiU, its sad to see Ninty moved on from supporting WiiU this bluntly.
They didn’t even bother to mention Devil’s Third or anything like that.

Ok, listen up everyone who says “This should be on WiiU”. No. It shouldn’t. Mario and Luigi series are more for handheld console then home console.
Yes, I understand WiiU needs more love and it could be beautiful in HD but to be honest, I would rather play this upcomming masterpiece on 3DS (if mine doesn’t break until then) than on WiiU.

Agreed. If this was roughly Paper Mario, I’d agree that this should be on the Wii U.
But it’s obviously meant to be a Mario & Luigi game with Paper Mario shoved in to add a new gameplay mechanic.

I did not see this coming at all. This caught me completely (and happily) by surprise.
I’m not sure why, but for some reason I’m just not into the Mario & Luigi series (even though I liked Partners In Time). I even stopped playing Bowser’s Inside Story and never returned. I think I’m getting too old or something.

Well this is a surprise. Didn’t even see another Mario & Luigi coming but what’s even more shocking is that Paper Mario is crossing over?! Holy fuck. :3
This is basically Paper Mario following Mario & Luigi around and learning how to not suck, and maybe helping every two or three hours with a highly situational overworld ability.
I’m glad they made sure to explain that:
A) This is a Mario & Luigi game.
B) The battle mechanics and overall construction of the overworld are all M&L.
C) Paper Mario doesn’t even hold a candle to M&L anymore.
What!? So the Paper Mario universe isn’t in the same as the main!? EVERYTHING I KNOW IS A LIE!!!!!
That explains the recent bullshit that Toad is genderless, because Paper Mario is in an alternate timeline/reality/dimension.

I get the feeling this game is being made so they can keep that bullshit about Toad being genderless as canon. “When we said Toad was genderless, we meant in the main series, he is genderless. Paper Mario, where a family of Toads can be comprised of male & female members, is in an alternate reality.” Ugh…
