Square Enix has unveiled the Japanese box art for the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII, featuring artwork of several key characters – including heroes and foes alike. The upcoming role-playing game is scheduled to launch in Japan on August 27 for Nintendo 3DS. Players take control of a hero whose primary goal is to find a way to save his king and fellow countrymen from the evildoings of Dhoulmagus.
