Looks Like ZombiU For PlayStation 4 And Xbox One Will Just Be Called Zombi

We heard ZombiU was coming to other platforms. It has been rumoured for quite some time, but we don’t know how the game will change for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The original was centred around the Wii U GamePad so there’s bound to be some big changes in this revised version for current generation consoles. The Taiwan rating board has listed ZombiU as coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but instead of being called ZombiU the game will just be known as Zombi. I guess we should get some official details about the game soonish.

  1. I’m going to be optimistic here and say I’m excited to see what they’re going to do with this game without the Wii U gamepad. ZombiU is a fantastic game on Wii U, while definitely not without its own good share of problems, it showcased what is still among the best uses of the gamepad to date.

    1. I totally agree, however, if a sequel stands a chance, it looks to be a PS4/XBO game… :( I won’t state the obvious…but I really, really want to play a sequel if one is made.

      1. I’ve been dying for a sequel too. Unfortunately at this point I think if it’s going to happen, it will be on PS4/XBO. Sad, but I have a PS4… so not as sad but still kinda sad. I’ll be getting an Xbox One this year too.

      2. I really, really don’t want to support more than one console, but a PS4 is looking more and more likely.

A Zombi2 PS4 bundle would push me over the edge for sure.

      3. Dude, don’t support them! lol, jk, you can do whatever you want with your money, but still… I know Nintendo has been disappointing us lately, but for me is still the best. Maybe I’m being optimistic, but good things will come to us. A year ago I decided to build my first gaming pc, and believe me, is way better than have a PS or MS console, not hating in those, but really, PC is just in another level, and with a Nintendo console, is ultimate combo for me.

  2. I hope this port absolutely tanks. If its anything like Ubisoft’s “ports”, it should be vastly inferior to the Wii U version. This should be Watch Dogs in reverse. If they actually put effort into it and it’s “better”, then I call bull and Ubisoft holds little to no regard for Nintendo.

    And yes, I’m mad :/

      1. Who is the arbiter of what’s underrated and what’s overrated? Does your rating mean that much more compared to other ratings?

  3. I love Zombie U so this looks very intriguing to me. I want this really badly but i promised myself i would never support Ubish*t again. So, I’ll just play Zombie U again when this releases to stop myself from buying this.

  4. There goes my hopes for ZombiU 2…
Wouldn’t it be funny if they added stuff kinda like in Dying light? You know, Online Co-Op? I know it has some online but it’s only to find the other player’s zombi so you can beat them to their stuff and claim it as yours. I loved that, since it almost always meant bullets for me :P
Anyways, we’ll just have to wait and see what changes Ubisoft can come up with…

  5. This game was ruined for me because of it being a first person perspective game. I MIGHT have like it if it were third-person. But that’s a big might.

  6. & as far as supporting 2 systems go. For me it’s Nintendo & Sony. Between the Wii U & 3DS also the PS3, PS4, & Vita (Sony is finally giving me a reason to pick one up!) I’m completely covered. Eventually I’ll pick up a XB1 once M$ finish getting their act together. They had a really great E3 (hate to say it but M$ actually won this year in my opinion) but they have to keep the momentum going for XB1.

  7. lol Ubisoft giving another middle finger to Nintendo Wii U owners that bought this game for the Wii U. No matter, some gamers are suckers & will probably buy this game for the PS4 to go right beside their Wii U version. *breathes in strongly & releases* Ahhh, brand loyalty! Ain’t it grand!? *rolls eyes*
