Now this is certainly interesting! The official Japanese Splatoon Twitter account has posted an image of an Octoling without their trademark goggles. This might not mean a lot to some, but with a large content pack looming for Splatoon next month, playable Octolings would certainly make a grand addition. This is all speculation though, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out.

Well yah, lol. There was a leak about them being playable sometime ago. Im just wondering if there’s gonna be a Male Octoling. They can be named Octork, and have spiked-tentacle hair.
I would bleed ink.
I guess out of happiness or something.
I don’t even know why I type things sometimes.
My prediction is that they will add one more story mode chapter where the octolings and inklings make peace and the octoling joins as a playable character.
That would certainly make it worth finishing the story. I only have one area to complete, but the online, ugh… lol

I would enjoy playing as an Octoling. Make it happen, Splatoon team!
