John Vignocchi, vice president of production for Disney Infinity, has revealed that Disney’s Toy to Life series has a fifty percent female player base. Vignocchi says that is one of the reasons why they have highlighted new female Jedi, Ahsoka. Clearly this is good news for the franchise which see’s Disney Infinity 3.0 released this week to good reviews.
Vignocchi said the decision to highlight Ahsoka, a female Jedi apprentice to Anakin, tied into surprising demographic data about Infinity’s players, adding that they expected a split of 70% male and 30% female. “With Disney’s IP treasure chest of powerful and strong female characters, we actually are seeing a split with Infinity that’s more 50% boys and 50% girls,” he said.

Id like to point out that 50% female playerbase doesnt neccessarily mean that disney is pioneering untapped potential but more probably that boys dont give a single wet damn about this franchise.

Anakin had an apprentice? WTF? Have watched all the movies and never they implied that he had any apprentice, fuck this whole concept contradicts everything. First of all, Anakin never got the title Jedi Master, he got into council but was never allowed to become master, only masters like Obi-Wan has apprentice, the whole fact he wasnt given title Master was part of the reason why went to dark side because he felt he didnt get the respect from Jedi council.
Also in EpisodeIV Vader says to Obi-wan “last time we met i was nothing but a learner, now i am the master” which Obi-Wan responds, “Only a master of evil, Darth” he basically says and gives away that while he was Jedi he was always learner not a mentor.

I remember that there were Jedi’s with apprentices, I mean 9 Jedis (I think that was the number) could not have all those Jedis apprentices. And I remember Qui-Gon Jinn (Obi-Wan’s master) not being a master, only a jedi knight. And she was created for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which took place between the episodes 2 and 3. I don’t know about that line, though.
Why are you throwing a tantrum about Star Wars canon when you haven’t even watched the most recent series? They address that ‘plot hole’ directly.
