New Mario Kart 8 Wii U Bundle Announced By Nintendo America

A new ongoing configuration of the Wii U console that includes a pre-installed version of the Mario Kart 8 game as well as a Nintendo eShop download card for the two Mario Kart 8 DLC packs is now on sale in retail stores across the country. The console is available at a suggested retail price of $299.99.

Later this week, on the 11th of September, Nintendo will launch Super Mario Maker for Wii U. Using the Wii U GamePad controller, players can quickly and easily create their own original Super Mario Bros. levels using items, enemies, graphical styles and even power-ups from four classic Mario games. These levels can be easily uploaded online to share with players all over the world. Game concepts that were never possible before in a Super Mario Bros. game are now possible in Super Mario Maker – and players are in control of it all.

            1. It’s something free that you can’t get for free any other way. I’m not trying to be rude man, but why be so negative over something you’re not even going to take part in? It just seems like a waste of energy. Just a high thought. @◇@

                1. That’s true but it doesn’t answer the question. And thats fine, frankly it’s your issue. The poster is free either way and not everyone has access to printers and such capable of such things. The fact of the matter remains your tossing rotten tomatoes at people for getting something easier than youre suggesting. : )

          1. I don’t HATE posters. It’s just that I’m 37, and I haven’t cared anything about posters since I was in my teens.

  1. I literally bought my wiiu 2weeks ago from gumtree. Bayonetta 2 is arriving tomorrow. I’m going to complete as much as I can and resell the console. The games can only keep me engrossed for literally 30 mins. I went back to Xbox with days

    1. Ah, yeah. You should probably check with your doctor then. It looks like you’ve got a full-blown case of shitty tastes.
This usually happens when you spend too long not brushing your teeth after eating Doritos.

Lol, that’s how I feel. The games are definitely good but they don’t keep my interest for long. I could only play Mario Kart 8 for an hour before I felt like turning the thing back off.

  2. “Pre installed”? Seriously? What a damn ripoff! People pays all that freakin’ money, and they don’t even get a physical copy of the game? Shove this bundle where the sun don’t shine, Nintendo!

  3. I preordered Mario maker from GameStop, and as soon as they notify me that it’s ready for pickup I’m rushing over there to get my poster before it’s sold out. NOTHING WILL STOP ME!!

  4. NoA’s new emphasis on bundles and special editions is promising. Let’s hope that a price cut rolls in for the Holiday season. We all know that the Wii U is more or less winding down games-wise, but it would be nice to see the (not so) old girl end up with 20m consoles moved by the time the NX home console lands in 2017.
