Japanese publication V-Jump has revealed that Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will now feature online battles, and that’s not all, as there’s a Dragon Ball Heroes collaboration on the way. The collaboration ties in with Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 and this is a Japan only feature at present. The scans of the magazine show off a number of support characters that are set to give players an advantage during the fast paced battles. There’s no word as to whether the online battles will come to the west, but they would be a more than welcome addition to the game.
Thanks, Michelle

I’m having a blast with the game, but this was the icing on the cake today. Cause I know just about everyone was super bummed it didn’t have online, especially coming from the makers of this title, it was abnormal for it to be absent in the first place.
Score!
Trunks for life!
I hope this update comes to the west.
No reason it shouldn’t, since Japan is less online oriented when it comes to handhelds at least since they all live so close together for the most part. It would honestly make much more sense in the west.
Couldn’t care less about this game but whatever.
Oh sweet! I actually didnt buy this game because there was no online, but I’ll for sure get this now
since that game is not on wii U I am not interested at all. what a shame!!!
… Damn. I usually skip fighting games these days but that online mode is very tempting. I wish Nintendo would wake up & realize just how integral online has become for most of the world. They are still going “Hurr durr! What good is online? Hurr durr! Do people really need online as an option? Hurr durr! Voice chat is evil because it’s 100% used for all the wrong reasons! Hurr durr!”
>>>They kknow it’s important and they do have online in their games, however, it’s mostly in the 3DS and not the Wii U for some idiotic reason>>>
As a fan of Vegeta, I hate how they styled him in this game. They gave him brown hair and minimized his widow’s peak. He barely looks like Vegeta.
Opposite for me.
And Vegeta has always had dark brown hair originally and in the manga, so did Nappa. Same with his dad, King Vegeta. Just type in “Vegeta’s brown hair” into Google, or just look at pictures of his dad’s hair which is a dark brown. The first appearance of Vegeta, his hair was very brown, almost a reddish brown.

I love his design, I love the sprite work in this game in general. It’s some of the best I’ve ever seen, and as I’ve said it stands true to classic Japanese DBZ animations. I like how sinister they made Vegeta look in this, cause that’s very true to his nature. I can’t get enough of his maniacal laugh after he wins.
It’s typically only the newer overseas versions of DBZ, that he has black hair.
Still, going back to the original after all this time? I don’t get it. And people’s hair color an change over time, especially when it comes to brown hair getting darker. That’s what happened to me.
